Craig Faulkner

Craig has taught and currently holds teaching positions at many top UK performing arts colleges including LIPA, Bird College and Mountview.

Craig studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire under Nicholas Clapton and afterwards with Barbara Robotham. As a countertenor soloist Craig has worked for choral societies and orchestras.

However, Craig's first love is teaching and he was appointed as the first singing teacher for Sandwell Youth Music, where he remained until 2008. He also taught singing for Stagecoach Theatre School in Stafford. He still works as a singing teacher and vocal coach on a freelance basis in schools and sixth forms including coaching for student productions such as 'We Will Rock You'.

In 2003 Craig became Principal of his own Stagecoach schools in Cheshire.

In 2008 Craig attended his first Level 1 and 2 course in Estill Voice Training having been curious about it for many years. In 2009 Craig qualified as a Certified Master Teacher having studied on the certification pathway with Reeve & Møller. Craig is currently the only Certified Master Teacher working in the Midlands and one of only two countertenors in the world who are qualified to teach the Estill Voice Model™.

Craig is a member of the British Voice Association, AOTOS, and is an Associate of Reeve & Møller Voice Consultancy.
